Unfortunately, we have to announce that we will remain closed at the moment in line with the larger site we operate on. Never fear, we will be back in 2021 with a bang! (and a hoot, and a whistle!).

Meanwhile, we've been busy putting together our Captured In Time page, where an interactive map takes you through the history of Lathalmond. We'll be adding new features to the page throughout the year so keep checking back!

We will use the time to progress lots of work here at Shed47, so be ready for lots of new things the next time you visit! Keep up to date with our regular site updates on our Facebook page, and stay safe.

Best wishes to all of our followers.

- The Shed47 Team.

2021: We plan to reopen in June, we'll publish exact dates when we can. Have a longer trip on the railway than our traditional event days, explore our collection, and find out more about progress on our projects. Travel on our Narrow Gauge railway too. Why not make a day of it and visit our friends at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum as well?

(Date TBC)

The annual Bus Museum Open Weekend is back! We will be running trains all day. Free bus service running from Dunfermline bus station every hour.

Shed47 will have our shop and museum open at Lathalmond Halt with models, books, DVDs & souvenirs for sale. We will be running the usual brake van rides with souvenir tickets available. Come and see what new projects we are working on, and ride on the West of Fife Munitions Railway too, our new narrow gauge railway. Trains running on both days as demand dictates, see SVBM website for full details of the larger event.
